Muahaha, I just saw Dragonball in celebration of my 18th birthday, which is tomorrow. ;D I have to say, I am not nearly as disappointed as I thought I would be. I was impressed with the original terms they used in the movie... Although, the storyline itself will make all fans say "WTF!" But honestly, it could have been much worse. The humor was clever at times... And Bulma's character was just as I imagined her. I really enjoyed Emmy's portrayal of the scientific genius. You people need to see the movie just so we can see DBZ come out >.> I'm sure most of you wouldn't mind seeing a certain Saiyan ...prince... hehehe. (and as a side note, have you B/V fans thought about the possibilities for our favorite couple in a live-action movie?? It's enough to make me elated!)

*EDiT*: After reading lots of, urm, flames about Dragonball Evolution, I just wanna say people are expecting the impossible. :\ It's a sad and rather bitter truth, but there was no way we were going to get our beloved series on the big screen. Not only is it too much, but some of it will never rightfully leave the world of animation. But... to be fair, I will say that the Oozaru thing was totally stupid. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? *sits in corner* Nevertheless, I am trying my best to be optimistic about this movie and praise it for what it did right. I think enough of the world is telling that poor director what he did wrong.

For meh birthday, I'm camping out with my little brother, his two friends, my Dad, and my doggies (5 dogs! ). The pinata is Darth Vader's head, which we will whack relentlessly with toy lightsabers. Hrmmmm, and then we will have a Dragonball scavenger hunt. Lmfao. My idea.

Anywho, I better get some stuff packed & ready. I hope everyone sees Dragonball with an optimistic attitude. Just think about how cool DBZ could be. And with that, I'm off!

So, turns out I had the flu the day we left for Highlands, North Carolina. I was a bit loopy, but I hiked with my family every day the entire week. I'll probably upload the photos later tonight, so hopefully some of them turned out A-OK.

Mmm, don't you love being sick? Worst feeling in the world, heh.

So around one o'clock when I realized that my ears weren't going to stop crackling and my nose wasn't about to get rid of its traffic jam (and holy shit I'm too tired for road rage) and my throat wouldn't stop clawing itself, I decided some art therapy was in order. Hell, I'm even on meh old Mac. I've been spending too much time with my PC laptop. Time to be with my firstborn. *hugs*

Only thing is, this big baby right here is almost full on memory because of how many songs I've downloaded. *grumbles* So it's going to take forever to upload some photos, but I'm hoping they'll look decent on the mac. I miss submitting pictures to dA!

Anyway, I would like to wish my dear friends and fellow artists good fortune on the SAT! ;D And safety to all of you traveling during spring break. Is there anything else I'm forgetting? ...OH. I bought my first RUSH t-shirt and my first Pikachu purse all in the same day! HEHE. I suppose I'm celebrating my 18th birthday a month early... but what's wrong with that?

Oh. The point of this --aside from giving me something to do as I await the uploading of my photos-- was to inform my peoplez that I am going to the mountains for a week. So I'll return next Saturday. Hopefully this means ...snow... but I doubt it. At any rate, if there isn't much fog, I'll have some nice opportunities for good photos.
