Hey everyone!

The past week I was sick with a stomach virus, but now that I'm feeling better I can go back to practicing photography and writing. Hopefully some of that will come out okay. ;D

Recently I've developed a crazy Pokémon fandom !! It all started after my Feebas evolved into Milotic and when Lady Fortuna kissed my cheek, and I got a Manaphy... (considered one of the rarest in the games. so HAH). Hence all the new Misty/Ash faves. I think this has a lot to do with the games and also waking up to it each morning (hail cartoon network). I like Dawn, but... Misty's always my favorite. "The Tomboyish Mermaid."

Anyway, I've got to take care of three crazy golden retrievers. Toodles for now!

1.Hrm. I'm a wannabe classacist. I've learned Classical Greek & Latin and have taken a variety of courses that focus on the ancient world... and I hope to increase my education of the Classics in college.

2. If ya hadn't noticed, I'm in love with learning languages. As for a future career path, I'm definitely taking teaching or translating into consideration!

3. ...However, recently, I've had this idea that I should become a vet or zoo keeper... or something or other. I've been watching Animal Planet on a daily basis, and have given my puppies and kitties some make-overs. >.< Plus I've had three summers' worth of knowledge at horse camp (as well as a family-owned horsie). Muahahahaha!

4. This reminds me of illnesses. The worst I had was salmonella. A ...ahem, captive... lizard bit meh finger, so we're pretty sure that he was the source of my problem.

5. Speaking of animals, I really love the Pokemon games! >.< And tons of other video games. It all started with Crash Bandicoot, Croc, Spot, Spyro... well, before that I guess you can count Duck Hunter. ^^ So I'm a video game fool. Hehehe.

6. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, as well as swimming. I took many years of swimming lessons, and at some random camps, I was told I should continue to be a professional swimmer. Too bad I'm a girl and am totally self-conscious about how I look in swim suits. >_> Beach ftw.

7. I am a proud feminist! And that does NOT mean I'm a radical person who thinks all men should be castrated, even if I know a few who should be ;D

8. Lastly.......... uhh. I love writing and photography, as all of you could probably tell. Given those two things, I have a quiet nature but if you know me, my hyperness and energy are endless. Be afraid, maggots.

Ah, how I love these moments. (: I usually never even watch this kind of stuff, but after seeing this "Susan Boyle" pop up everywhere (first on the news!), I just had to check this sensation out. And my Lord... I'm in tears.

May this be a lesson in humility to everyone.

So on Saturday I officially turned eighteen. I'm getting too old. I even start a job tomorrow in which I babysit a beautiful Cardigan Welsh Corgy named Boo Boo. It'll look good if I want to pursue a career in veterinary studies, which I have been considering for quite a while now.
