On Saturday, I bought two blue parakeets from Petsmart. Their names are Thalia and Apollo (though we're not sure if Apollo is indeed a boy...). I've never had a bird as a pet before, so this is really a surreal experience. I've made toys for them and am constantly playing Tchaikovsky and Chopin, hehe. So expect to see these beautiful birds in some photos soon.

While I've done my homework on the birds, I'd still like some firsthand advice. If you've ever had a bird --or more specifically, a parakeet-- as a pet, please leave any suggestions.
