Lynyrd Skynyrd live in Jackson, MS.
 The guy with the black hat is Gary Robert Rossington, the only living founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. This concert was bittersweet for my Dad, who had seen the band thirty years ago, a few years before the plane crash (in Mississippi no less!).  The other guitarist is Rickey Medlocke. Originally the drummer of the band in 1970, he left to pursue other interests, but re-joined as lead guitarist in 1996. I'm not going to lie. He was the coolest guitarist I've ever seen, lol. At one point in the show, he lay down on the floor while playing the guitar. Hehehehe. And the awesome looking drummer is Michael Cartellone! Previously he was the drummer for the Damn Yankees.  I love that band, lol. He plays as cool as he looks. ;D!!They were EPIC. |
